Modern bedroom furniture for a new home
We were asked to design and build this suite for furniture for our clients’ newly built luxury home in Wiltshire.
The painted door and drawer fronts feature a series of geometric shadow gaps that reflect the bold angular lines of the building. Oak highlights, including bespoke drawer pulls and door pulls, provide warmth and a natural visual softness.
The four door wardrobe features his and hers hanging spaces flanking a large central section including a built in chest of drawers. Hidden upper cabinets behind push to open doors allow plenty of extra storage space.
With its spectacular curved base holding a strong and linear top, the chest of drawers appear to defy gravity.
Both pieces have sprayed paint finish outer joinery and contrasting lacquered Birch plywood internals.
