Bookcase for a Fulham home

Our clients commissioned us to design and build this bookcase as part of a comprehensive renovation of their terraced home in Fulham.

With a brief to develop a “contemporary classical” style, we worked to combine traditional mouldings with chamfered shaker doors and a rich blue paint with polished brass fittings.

A fully bespoke Oak ladder sits on a polished Brass rail, giving access to the upper shelves under brass picture lights.

The raised desk top with a panelled leg recess combined with integrated power outlets means that the bookcase becomes a truly multifunctional piece of furniture.
