Bespoke cabinetry for a family snug
As part of a wide-ranging renovation project, our clients asked us to develop some furniture for their snug that would provide them with a sense of luxury and comfort for their day to day family life as well as the flexibility to entertain guests on special occasions.
In a large home with big rooms, it is often difficult to create a cosy and relaxed space so we worked carefully with our clients to develop the bar and TV cabinetry to be grand enough in scale to match the existing room whilst having enough warmth and softness to make everything feel comfortable.
We introduced plenty of traditional details to the furniture alongside Oak slatted doors, hidden lighting and cushioned fabric panels to achieve the right visual balance between the old and the new.
The unlaquered brass hardware will age beautifully over time and with use to match the building and the Oak ladder adds pracicality as well as a bit of fun.
